Tata Power EZ Chargers is the product of Tata Motors, an award-winning EV charging charger that comes with an easy-to-use interface with quick payment options available on the mobile platform application. The company's new move was inspired by the Prime Minister’s speech on World Environment Day, and the Statue of Unity Area Development and Tourism Governance Authority (SOUADTGA), Kevadia, which houses the world’s tallest Statue of Unity, will become the country’s first electric vehicle city with only electric buses, cars, and two-wheelers on roads. The company’s decision to set up the charging station will ultimately support the move. The charging station at Kevadia Gujarat will help all types of EV drivers to charge their vehicles with CCS2 Fast charging standards.
"Visitors coming to the Statue of Unity can now travel in their EV's without the anxiety of charging their vehicles. Tourists coming from Surat, Vadodara, Ahmedabad and other cities can now make the journey in their electric cars without worry. We are committed to installing EV charging points at important highway locations and similar tourist destinations," said Sandeep Bangia, Head – EV & Home Automation, Tata Power.
Not only this, the company has installed up to 21 chargers for EV users in Gujarat. Like NH64, NH7, NH8, SG Highway in the State.
