Electric cars future in India

Automotive manufacturing is growing rapidly in early 2020-21. Also, the sales curve of these electric cars is growing upward. Manufacturers are taking forward steps to improve the quality and security of these electric cars so the sales are up. There are only limited electric cars in India at the moment. The best EVs to consider of the lot include Hyundai Kona Electric, Tata Nexon EV, and MG ZS EV. Consumers are experiencing the amazing performance of these electric cars. There are many upcoming electric cars in 2021. As per the reports, electric vehicles (EVs) will hit 10% of global passenger vehicle sales in 2025, with that number rising to 28% in 2030 and 58% in 2040. According to the study, EVs currently make up 3% of global car sales.

There are three kinds of electric cars in India.

Electric car is made up by one or more electric motors using energy stored in rechargeable batteries, instead of burning petrol or diesel internally and exhausting fumes. This helps to decrease the air pollution and helps to save our environment from harmful gases. Because of its good battery life electric cars are increasing in the market.

Here is the list of threekind of electric cars.

  • Solar-powered cars.
  • Hybrid cars which are powered by engine as well as batteries.
  • Electric cars with on-board battery packs

Automobile manufacturers have announced electric four-wheelers such as Hyundai Kona Electric, Mahindra e-Verito, Mahindra e2o, Porsche Taycan, Tata Tigor EV 2019, MG ZS which are the best sellers in the Indian Market. As per the reports, electric cars are gaining the popularity.

Electric cars offers low operating cost

Electric cars offer a dramatically lower operating cost than the conventional internal combustion engines. On the other side, electric vehicles are 75-80% cheaper from fuel and maintenance perspective. Electric cars are cheaper than the petrol or diesel cars. Electric cars are best in their performance as well as driveability.

Electric vehicles emit less greenhouse gases.

Electric cars are better for the environment and coming future. Also, they emit less greenhouse gases and air pollutants over their life than a petrol or diesel car. This is even after the production of the vehicle and the generation of the electricity required to fuel them is considered. Electric cars are improving air quality in towns and cities. Just because of the electric cars we are saving 1.5 million grams of Co2 which is really good for future environment conditions.

 Batteries in electric cars.

Most electric vehicles use lithium-ion batteries. Lithium is the lightest of all metals. These batteries contain no lithium metal but they actually contain ions which is an atom or molecule with an electric charge caused by the loss or gain of one or more electrons. Lithium-ion batteries are safer than many alternatives. Manufacturers are taking safety measures to save batteries from failure manufacturers equip electric vehicles with charging safeguards to protect the batteries during repeated rapid charging sessions in a short period of time
