Electric two-wheeler manufacturer Ultraviolette has received a funding of Rs 30 crore from Indian bike major TVS Motors for its manufacturing and operation process. The Bengaluru based startup had already revealed about the Ultraviolette F77 which is an electric bike in November. This bike will be available in three paint options that are Lightning, Shadow and Laser. Ultraviolette will first sell the F77 in Bengaluru, followed by other cities at a later date as told by the Ultraviolette.
Price of Ultraviolette is between 3 Lakh and 3.25 Lakh
The price of the F77 is expected to be between Rs 3.0 lakh and Rs 3.25 lakh. It is going to be best performer on road than entry-level performance motorcycles. This bike comes with a sharp bodywork with a mass-forward design and a sporty riding stance because of its low-set clip-on handlebars. It have a sporty theme which has been carried forward under the skin as well and gets a trellis frame and cast aluminium swingarm.
To power a Powering Ultraviolette F77, 25kW electric motor develops 90Nm of torque. It claims a 0-60kmph time of 2.9 seconds. It also has a 4.2kWh battery which offers a range from 130km to 150km. Ultraviolettee comes equipped with a USD fork at the front and a monoshock at the rear. Braking hardware consists of disc brakes at both ends, and switchable dual-channel ABS is offered as standard.
