PUR ENERGY is an initiative of IIT-Hyderabad pioneers, and it was founded in 2016 by Nishanth Dongari, Assistant Professor, Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, IIT Hyderabad, is now led by Rohit Vadera, an alumnus of IIT Bombay. The sole aim of bringing the revolution of Electric vehicles and energy storage systems to the Indian market. The company’s expertise lies in energy storage technology.

- PURE Lithium: It deals with the production of high-performance Lithium batteries.

- PURE Power Slab 48 V 60 Ah (LFP) Power Storage 48v 100 Ah (LFP) ESS Module. Compliant with: 48 V Solar Inverters, 48 V to 540V UPS/PCU,48V 3-Wheeler Motors in EVs.

Why is PUR ENERGY trending?
Recently, PUR ENERGY made an announcement in which they announced the launch of a new electric motorcycle named ETRYST 350. ETRYST 350 will be a part of four other models that were earlier launched by the company i.e., Eupluto 7G, Entrance NEO, Entrance, Etron+, and Li-Battery.
According to an NDTV report, the motorcycle is expected to hit the showroom by 15th August at an economical price. The company will be releasing 50 demo models by March to make them available for test drivers.
According to the reports, Pure EV will first launch the product in Bengaluru and then Pune and gradually expand the market by 2021. The report added that PURE EV will be offering a five-year warranty for the in-house designed battery.
Rohit Vadera, Chief Executive Officer, PURE EV, said, “We have obtained Automotive Research Association of India approvals for electric bikes and two-wheelers. The company has invested a significant amount of resources for on-road testing the products for their market readiness. Our electric vehicles offer cost savings over traditional ICE vehicles with running costs as low as 5 paise/km. We are working actively for channel development and aim to deploy more than 10,000 units of our various models in the current financial year.”
