Mercedes-Benz EQS
Foreshadowed by the Vision EQS concept presented in September 2019 at the Frankfurt Motor Show, the Mercedes EQS is a large sedan that looks like a limousine. On the outside, it inherits the characteristic elements of the rest of the EQ range with a specific light signature and a full grille. 5.22 m long, the Mercedes EQS is 1.93 m wide, 1.51 m for an impressive wheelbase of 3.21 m. In the trunk, the capacity reaches 610 liters and 1,770 liters once the rear seat is folded down.
The AMG sports version, unveiled at the start of the 2021 school year, will very broadly take up the design of the electric sedan. Very slight additions of aerodynamic parts, as well as special rims, will differentiate the two.
Features of the Mercedes-Benz EQS
Inside, Mercedes' large electric sedan will be the first to receive HyperScreen technology characterized by a giant 56-inch (141 cm) screen divided into three segments. Measuring 12.3 inches alone, the instrument cluster will be complemented by a 17.7-inch center screen and a 12.3-inch passenger screen. The AMG version sports a slightly different interior, with specific colors and materials.
Engines and performance of the Mercedes-Benz EQS
90 kWh or 107.8 kWh… the Mercedes EQS will be available in two battery configurations. In terms of autonomy, the manufacturer promises up to 780 km in the WLTP cycle for the 450+ version and 676 km for the 580 4Matic version. Powered by a 400-volt system, Mercedes' electric car will offer up to 200 kW of DC power via the Combo standard. In alternating current (AC), the onboard charger of the EQS will be able to support up to 11 kW in series and 22 kW in option. On the AMG EQS side, the 107.9 kWh payload battery should allow you to cover up to 580 km on a single charge. A figure that could go down to 526 km in the fastest versions.

This car will fall under the price range of Rs. 2.5 crore to Rs. 3 crores.
Audi e-Tron GT
Revealed in concept form at the 2018 Los Angeles Auto Show, the Audi e-Tron GT is a 4-door, 4-seater coupe. Considered the equivalent of the Porsche Taycan, the electric sports car of the brand with the rings extends over 4.99 m in length and 1.96 m in width. With four seats, it has a 405-liter boot supplemented by an 81-liter frunk at the front.
Engines and performance of the Audi e-Tron GT
In terms of engine, the Audi e-Tron GT is available in two versions:
- The Audi e-Tron GT Quattro.-Considered “the entry-level”, it has double synchronous motorization. Accumulating up to 476 horsepower and even 530 horsepower in boost mode, it does 0 to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds.
- The Audi e-Tron GT RS- Resolutely sporty, this supercharged version climbs up to 646 horsepower in boost mode. Enough to allow a 0 to 100 km / h in 3.3 seconds.
Quattro or RS… the two versions of the Audi e-Tron GT share a single battery. This has a capacity of 93 kWh, of which 86 are useful. In terms of autonomy, count 488 km for the e-Tron GT Quattro and up to 472 km for the sporty RS version.
Charging the Audi e-Tron GT
When charging with alternating current (AC), the e-Tron GT comes standard with an 11 kW charger. A 22 kW charger is available as an option
In direct current (DC) charging, Audi's electric sports car is based on the standard combo and a system climbing up to 800 volts. The tolerated charging power increases to 270 kW.
