Honda Electric Scooty EM1 e
One of the most popular automotive brands in India, Honda experienced an increase in the growing number of users every year. In line with its electrification goals, Honda is all set to release new electric motorcycles by 2025 and is planning to launch at least 10 electric motorcycles worldwide. Honda's new electric scooter was introduced recently at the EICMA exhibition in Milan. The EM1 is Honda's first electric motorcycle to enter the European market. The company also revealed the idea behind the name EM that "EM" stands for electric moped and is aimed at young customers looking for a city vehicle that is light and easy to drive.
Design
To design this new electric scooter, Honda opted for a simple and modest design, something that is similar to that of Benly. We can expect a slim, short front grab handle and a small, angular headlamp chassis in its design. The electric scooter will have a flat floor, which gives the rider plenty of legroom, and a relatively large rear with storage space under the saddle. We can say that Honda designed the EM1 in such a way that it will serve the purpose of being environmentally friendly.
Specifications and Features
As the company is yet to reveal the specifications of the Honda EM1 e so we can't say anything specific about its specifications. However, the company has announced that it will have a Honda electric vehicle power package. This means it has a removable or swappable battery. This electric scooter can travel more than 40 kilometers on a complete single charge and the top speed will be 45 Kmph to 50 Kmph. The battery can then be removed and charged at the user's choice at the usual outlets in the home or other environments.
We can also see from the revealed glimpses of the electric scooter that the EM1 will probably use a large motor for the 10 inches rear wheels. You also see a telescopic fork with disc brakes on the 12 inches front wheels and LED lighting at the front and rear along with a digital instrument.
Launch
The scooter will be launched in Europe in the summer of 2023, however, there is no official update about the launch of EM1 in the Indian automotive market.
Hero Electric Optima CX (Dual Battery)
After launching a few anticipated scooters like Hero Optima and Hero Electric Atria LX hero is here with its new Hero Optima CX Dual Electric Battery scooter. It is the mid-range model in the Optima segment. Hero CX is equipped with a double battery that uses the maximum power and torque separately. There are four color options available for the buyers: white, red, gray, and blue.
Design
The Hero Optima CX Dual Batter is reminiscent of the Hero CX model in terms of design. You can see the effect of price in its design and styling being an entry-level scooter. It has hard plastic body panels throughout. The front panel has modern headlights with indicators. It has very stylish alloy wheels and large front fenders. The valve cover is the same color as the body and the rear suspension has green shock absorbers. In short, it has a simple but cool design.

It has a top speed of 45 Kmph and provides a range of 140 km. It will take 4 to 5 hours to completely charge the battery with a standard charger. It has a motor power of 550 | 1200 Watts with a battery capacity of 51.2V.
