1. Tata Power to install EV chargers at JP Infra properties.
Tata Power will provide EV charging solutions at residential projects of JP Infra in Mumbai. More than 60 EV charging points will be installed at the real estate developer’s properties.
Residents with electric vehicles will have access to charging facilities and will be able to connect via Tata Power EZ mobile app for all services, including remote vehicle charge monitoring and online payments.
2. JSW Group ties up with ElectricPe.
JSW Group, one of India’s largest conglomerates, has joined hands with ‘ElectricPe’ as its charging partner. JSW had recently announced a ‘green policy’ under which the group’s employees will be provided incentives to buy EVs. ElectricPe will provide charging infrastructure at JSW’s offices and plants.
ElectricPe has already set up the required charging infrastructure at JSW’s Mumbai office.
3. Statiq to invest Rs.40 crore to expand EV charging infra.
Statiq, one of India’s leading electric vehicle charging network, plans to invest Rs.40 crore in building EV charging infrastructure across residential projects. According to reports, the company will offer free hardware installation and free EV charging for the first year to residents of the residential projects. These plans are initially for Delhi-NCR.
Statiq recently raised over Rs.200 crore in Series A funding. They have also tied-up with Hero Electric and Ather to expand its EV charging network in the northern states of India.
4. ChargeZone installs EV charging points at Le Meridien Gurugram & Marriott Courtyard Aravali.
ChargeZone recently installed EV fast-charging points at Le Méridien Gurugram and Courtyard Aravali Resort in Delhi NCR. As a part of the partnership between ChargeZone and Marriott, the EV charging solution firm plans to install over 100 EV chargers at Marriott properties across India in a phased manner by December 2022.
The Courtyard Aravali Resort gets a 60kW DC fast charger which is compatible with all electric cars available in India. The charging point can charge two EVs simultaneously.
5. EV Charging company ‘goEgoNetwork’ raises $8 million.
EV charging infrastructure solutions start-up ‘goEgoNetwork’ has raised $8 million in Series A funding.
goEgoNetwork will use the funds in developing and installing its DC fast charging station network. It will also enable the startup to become a dominant player in India’s six largest cities.
Currently, goEgo has more than 1000 charging points across 55 cities in 15 states.
6. Hyderabad based ‘Nihar Info Global’ to establish EV charging network.
Nihar Info Global, a Hyderabad based Bombay Stock Exchange listed company, involved in e-commerce, healthcare, mining & renewable energy, is planning to establish EV charging stations in corporate offices, residential properties & malls. Through its subsidiary ‘Nihar Renewable Energy Pvt Ltd’, the company will tie up with companies that provide EV charging solutions.
