1. New battery tech with ultra-fast charging capabilities showcased at Paris Motor Show.
In a significant development in electric vehicle technology, Taiwan-based battery tech startup ‘ProLogium’ showcased its game-changing breakthrough: a lithium ceramic battery (LCB). At the recently concluded Paris Motor Show, ProLogium claimed that its battery can deliver up to 300 km of range from just a 5 minute charge! Test data showed that the battery can charge from 5-60% in just 5 minutes and reach 80% in 8.5 minutes.
ProLogium's new lithium ceramic battery (LCB) significantly outperforms conventional lithium-ion batteries in energy density & charging efficiency. It can store more energy in the same amount of space and weighs lesser. The company claims its product is significantly more efficient than other battery types like LFP & NMC. These LCBs can power EVs for longer without needing to be recharged as often.
