Mini Cooper SE is the electric version of the iconic Mini Cooper hatchback.The mini Cooper SE electric was launched in India on 24 February, 2022.Coincidentally, this launch comes at a time when MINI is celebrating 10 years in the Indian market.
There is no major difference between the petrol-powered Cooper S and Cooper SE EV. The first batch of units is already sold out via pre-bookings that had started in October 2021.the second batch of bookings will begin in March.Bookings can only be made on the company’s website.

The interiors of the Mini Cooper SE electric come equipped with a 5.5-inch coloured MID, an 8.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, sport seats, a panoramic sunroof, and a Nappa leather steering wheel,Apple CarPlay, and ambient lighting.
Exterior
Mustache-like front grille surround,circular LED headlights,17-inch alloy wheels, yellow elements on the ORVMs, and the unique badge at the rear.

The Cooper SE is offered in only one variant - the Electric. The Electric is available with a Electric(Battery) engine and Automatic transmission and commands a price of 50.90 Lakh.
There is no major difference between the petrol-powered Cooper S and Cooper SE EV. Visible differences are the non-symmetric 17-inch aero wheels with fluorescent green highlights and the green ORVMs. That's it. That's all you need to see in order to know it is an EV.
Also there is the electric Mini symbol on the charger flap and on the boot.
These minor but significant differences are there in the electric version of mini cooper SE.
Volvo XC40
Volvo has launched the all-electric version of the XC40, called the XC40 Recharge, in India.
Features: The XC40 features a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an 8-way electrically adjustable driver's seat, dual zone climate control
It gets a 2-litre turbo petrol engine paired to a 48-volt electric motor that produces a combined output of 197PS and 300 Nm.
It has electric range upto 418km,408 hp power ,it gives Acceleration (0-100 km/h) in 4.9 sec.The battery pack can be charged from 10-80 per cent in 28 minutes with the help of a 150kW DC fast charger.
It gets autonomous driving with lane keep aid and radar-based cruise control and recently updated rear cross traffic alert. Additional safety features include multiple airbags, hill start assist, hill descent control and park pilot assist.
volvoXC40 also has google built in,air purifier,Harman kardon premium sound,360 degree camera,cross traffic alert,volvo cars app. Available in 5 colours, including Crystal White, Fjord Blue, Onyx Black, Thunder Grey, and Sage Green.It also has some very important safety features like driver-assist hardware includes blind-spot warning, lane keep assist, cross-traffic alert with auto brakes, and automatic brake assist.
Volvo XC40 will compete with Mercedes-Benz EQC, Audi E-Tron, Jaguar I-Pace and BMW iX. all these rivals are expensive with starting price north of Rs 1 crore

Kia EV6
Kia India launched the EV6 in the country on 2 May 2022.
Available in two versions GT Line (RWD) and GT Line (AWD).
These both versions get an automatic transmission. Kia comes with three driving modes Eco, Normal, and Sport.The Kia EV6 is powered by a 77.4kWh battery pack. KiaEV6 is capable of sprinting from zero to 100kmph in just 5.2 seconds.

The EV6 gets sleek LED headlamps with coupe-like roofline, flush-fitting door handles, and 19-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.The vehicle is available in five colour options, including Moonscape, Snow White Pearl, Runway Red, Aurora Black Pearl, and Yacht Blue.

EV6 offers ventilated front seats, 64-colour ambient lighting, wireless charger,electric sunroof, electric parking brake,12.3-inch curved touchscreen infotainment system,

Charging
With a 350kW charger, the EV6’s 77.4 KWh lithium-ion battery can reach 80 per cent of its charge in just 18 minutes, while a 50kW charger will take about 73 minutes.
Price
Kia EV6 price starts at 63.34 Lakh and goes upto 68.58 Lakh.
Kia claims that the EV6 is capable of running 528km on a full charge.
