Altigreen Electric 3 Wheeler Review- Top Speed, Range, Price, and more
Over two years back, Exponent Energy CEO Arun Vinayak was challenged by Dr. Amitabh Saran, founder of electric vehicle company Altigreen Propulsion Labs in Bangalore to design a battery that charges in less than 15 minutes.
Eighteen months ago, Arun and his team at Exponent Energy developed batteries called e^pack and charging stations called e^pump. This makes affordable lithium-ion batteries available for all commercial vehicles and fast charging from 0 to 100% within 15 minutes.
On August 3, 2022, Altigreen Labs and Exponent Energy launched the world's fastest rechargeable electric three-wheeler that can quickly charge from 0% to 100% in 15 minutes. A Bengaluru-based startup Kazam EV recently review this Altigreen electric three-wheeler, so let's have a look at their findings.

Altigreen launched in three variants: Altigreen NEEV flatbed, Altigreen NEEV Half Deck, and Altigreen NEEV Full Deck.

Design
Altigreen NEEV comes in a metal body and is designed with enclosed cabins with doors and windows with a lock system that will make delivery hassle-free in every weather condition. Its dimension is 5.7 ftx4.7 ftx4.7ft. In terms of the interior, many options are available on the front panel with a 5-inch digital screen. It has a comfortable day cabin and a 17% gradeability with reclining seats for your comfort while driving. Its speedometer has three modes: neutral, forward, and post.
Specifications
It has Disc in the front axle and Drum Brakes at the back. It has 12-inch tubeless tyres at all three ends with an extra tyre for an emergency. It offers a ground clearance of 220 mm. It has helical spring suspension at the Front Sock Absorber and individual rear suspension. As per the company, it offers a range of 150 km in a complete single charge and maximum torque of 45 Nm. In terms of battery, it has a 48 V Battery Voltage and 240 AH Battery Capacity. It offers a top speed of 58 km/h however, the company claimed the top speed will be 55 km/h. It has an 11 kWh battery with 8.25 kW power.
Price
It will be available within an on-road price range between Rs.3.25 - 3.75 Lakh.
